As a primary teacher, I love the variety of teaching all subjects in the curriculum, especially Outdoor and Adventurous Activities. I enjoy going on school trips and residentials, where students get the opportunity to stay away from home and experience activities and learning outside of the classroom. I enjoy teaching maths a little more than the other subjects, as it fosters critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and logical reasoning, which are transferable to numerous other fields.

When I am not teaching, I love to spend time with my family. I am married and we have four children who we love to take on holiday to different places in the UK and abroad. We also enjoy walking on the coast path, swimming in the sea and exploring different parts of Cornwall that we're not that familiar with.

There is absolutely nothing better to feel like you have made a difference in a young person's life. It really is the best job in the world and, as a teacher, I can play a crucial role in shaping young minds and equipping students with valuable skills for the future.
