We are hosting Pearson Edexcel Functional Skills exams for the 2026 Autumn and Summer 2027 Exam season.​​​

Key Dates For Functional Skills

  • 29 June 2026 - Booking Form available to complete for Autumn 2026

  • 30 July 2026 - Booking Form available to complete for Summer 2027

  • 14 August 2026 - Deadline for mock exams and Access Arrangements for Autumn 2026 Exam Series

  • 1 & 2 September 2026 - Mock exams for students applying for Access Arrangements

  • 25 September 2026 - Deadline for entries for Functional Skills Autumn 2026 Series

  • 2 - 20 November 2026 - Autumn Exam series

  • 22 March 2027 - Deadline for Access Arrangements for Summer 2027 exam series

  • 3 May 2027 - Deadline for Functional Skills Summer 2027 Series

Process for making Autumn 2026 Functional Skills Exam Entries

  1. Complete the online booking form.

  2. Ensure the Terms and Conditions for Making Exam Entries have been read and understood 

  3. We will contact you with any other information needed and to verify ID documents loaded.

  4. Entries for Functional Skills exams must be submitted by 9am on 25 September 2026 or late fees will apply - see Exam Fees for more information.​

Process for making Summer 2027 Functional Skills Exam Entries

  1. Complete the online booking form.

  2. Ensure the Terms and Conditions for Making Exam Entries have been read and understood 

  3. We will contact you with any other information needed and to verify ID documents loaded.

  4. Entries for Functional Skills exams must be submitted by 9am on 3 May 2027 - see Exam Fees for more information.​
