Bursaries

CB Tutoring & Exams offers two bursary opportunities to help make education and exam access more accessible. Our Tutoring Bursary, Sparks Rising, provides support towards the cost of tuition, while our Exam Bursary, Kowel Gwenen, helps eligible students with the cost of sitting their exams at our centre.

Sparks Rising

Helping young people find their spark

The Sparks Rising Fund provides free tuition for young people in Cornwall, helping them build confidence, develop their skills and work towards the qualifications they need. Created in memory of Kieran, the fund celebrates his curiosity, individuality and love of learning by helping other young people find, protect and grow their own spark.

Kowel Gwenen

Helping remove barriers to qualifications

The Kowel Gwenen Fund helps young people in Cornwall access the Maths and English GCSE or Functional Skills examinations they need, providing financial support to families who may otherwise struggle with the cost of exam entries.
