My favourite thing about maths and English is that they are the bedrock of academic study and enquiry, and are fundamental to the development of human understanding and communication.

When I'm not tutoring, I like to relax with a good book. At the moment, I am following Phillipa Gregory, whose works include The White Princess and The Other Boleyn Girl, and Diana Gabaldon, whose works inspired the TV series, Outlander.

In my previous role, I worked with students with special educational needs and those who were struggling to acclimatise to education after the pandemic. Whilst I found this work highly rewarding, being a tutor allows me to devote more time to the development of individual students.
