As a tutor, I enjoy seeing students progress and really get the science we are discussing - those moments when understanding really happens. There is a real sense of appreciation for the work we put in together.

When I am not tutoring or working in my main job as a lecturer, I enjoy reading, listening to music, the countryside and birdwatching.

I became a tutor as I wanted to share my knowledge of science and I find working with students on a one-to-one and small group basis very rewarding.
