My favourite thing about tutoring art or any creative subject has to be seeing a student’s confidence grow as they realise their creative potential in whatever art discipline they may focus on.

I love watching that moment when something “clicks” for them, whether it's mastering a new technique or expressing an idea they’ve struggled to visualise. Every student from KS3-5 brings a unique perspective, and I enjoy tailoring my approach to help them find their voice and style. I suppose that's what keeps me engaged and enjoying education, specifically within the visual arts .

When I am not tutoring/ teaching I am a keen fitness enthusiast and go to the gym regularly. I am a keen sportsman having played rugby my whole life as well as Basketball. I now coach rugby at grass roots level and play occasionally when time allows. In addition to team sports I am at an advanced level in Snowboarding and Skiing, running annual trips to Europe with my school. I enjoy mountaineering and take part in endurance challenges each year - recently completing the Welsh 3000s in Snowdonia, North Wales.
