My favourite thing about maths is that it has a correct answer. 😀 It can really challenge you with some of the problem solving aspects but it's a real feel good moment when you get it right.

When I'm not tutoring, I enjoy listening to live music in the sunshine, spending time with my grandchildren and enjoying life on my small holding in Lostwithiel. We hope to have some animals, other than our dogs, next year.

I became a tutor as I wanted to teach maths to suit the student, not the school. By finding out the best ways that the student learns, I can tailor my tuition however it's needed, we can fill the gaps left by Covid and also challenge those that need it without the restrictions of the classroom. We can learn at the students pace, going back over topics linking them to what we are learning now. I can also dye my hair whatever colour I like! 💜
